Best online casinos UK

Ranked by our own scoring, not by who pays most. Every site holds a UK Gambling Commission licence, and every offer below carries the terms that decide what it is actually worth — the wagering, the caps, the expiry.

What this list is, and what it isn't

It is 18 UK-licensed casino and bingo sites we have read the terms of, scored against a published rubric, and ordered by that score. It is not every casino in Britain, and it is not the sites that pay us the most.

It is also not as varied as it looks. 17 of these run on a single platform operated by Jumpman Gaming, sharing a game library, a cashier and a support inbox — so "trying a different site" often gets you the same site in a different colour. Which makes the welcome offer the thing that genuinely differs, and the reason it drives the scoring. Our Jumpman casinos hub maps the whole family.

The three numbers that decide what an offer is worth

Reading these sites' terms, the same three levers come up again and again, and only one of them is ever in the advert.

  • The wagering multiplier. How much you must stake before bonus money can be withdrawn. The sites here mostly run 10x, which is low — the UK norm is nearer 35x or 40x, and 65x appears on some promotions on these same sites. Ourwagering calculator turns any of it into a pounds figure.
  • The conversion cap. The quiet one. On the Mega Reel offers, bonus winnings convert to real money only up to your lifetime deposits, maximum £250. A £10 deposit converts £10, whatever the bonus balance reaches.
  • What the spins pay in. A handful of sites pay free-spin winnings as cash with no wagering at all. Most pay them as bonus funds with a multiplier attached. That single word — cash or bonus — is worth more than the spin count next to it.

The Mega Reel guide works through all three, and wagering requirements explained covers the arithmetic.

Where to go next

Questions we get asked

How do you decide the order of this list?
By our overall score, highest first. That score is a weighted average of six sub-scores — bonus value, games, banking, trust and safety, mobile and support — each justified in the review itself. Where two sites score the same, we list them alphabetically rather than pretending to a distinction we cannot evidence. The full rubric and weights are published on our how we rate page.
Are all of these casinos licensed in the UK?
Yes, and we check rather than assume. For every site we look up the operating company on the Gambling Commission public register and confirm the domain is listed against that licence. A site whose domain is not on the register is not covered by it, whatever its footer says. We list the licence number on every review.
Why are some well-known casinos missing?
Either we have not been able to verify their current terms, or they do not hold a UK licence. We would rather leave a gap than publish an offer we have not read. Sites without a Gambling Commission licence never appear here at all, including sites that market themselves to self-excluded players.
Does it cost me anything to use your links?
No. We are paid a commission by the casino if you sign up through us, and the offer you get is identical to the one you would get by typing the address in yourself. It does not change our scores or the order of this list — the affiliate disclosure page sets out exactly how that works.
What is the single thing most people miss in a welcome offer?
The cap on what bonus winnings can become. Several sites we review convert bonus funds to real money only up to your lifetime deposits, to a maximum of £250 — so a £10 deposit converts £10 however far the bonus balance climbs. It is published in the terms and almost never in the advert. Our wagering calculator handles the other half of the problem.
