How We Rate Casinos
Six scores, fixed weights, and a written justification for each one in the review itself. No score is set by what a casino pays.

The six scores
Every review scores a site out of 10 in six areas. The overall figure is a weighted average of those six — it isn't a separate opinion, and it can't be nudged.

| Bonus value | 20% | The real value after wagering, not the headline. Low wagering, a high max win and few game restrictions push it up; a big number with 65x attached pushes it down. |
| Games | 20% | Range, the providers behind it, whether RTP is visible, demo play, and live casino if the site offers one. |
| Banking | 20% | Withdrawal speed as actually stated, minimum withdrawal, fees, and the range of methods. Slow or vague withdrawal terms cost the most here. |
| Trust and safety | 20% | Licence status, how clearly terms are published, the safer-gambling tools offered, and the operator's regulatory record. |
| Mobile | 10% | How the site behaves on a phone, and whether an app exists and is worth using. |
| Support | 10% | Channels, hours, and how straight the answers are when we ask something specific. |
What we don't do
- We don't score a site we haven't checked. A blank is a blank — you'll see "not yet rated" rather than a placeholder number.
- We don't give sister sites the same score by default. Sites on one platform share plenty, but their offers, promotions and support hours differ, and the scores follow the differences.
- We don't publish star ratings collected from anyone else, and we don't mark up aggregate ratings we haven't gathered ourselves.
- We don't claim to have deposited or withdrawn unless we have. Where a fact comes from reading the terms, we say we read the terms, and we date it.
Ordering on list pages
Category pages and the home toplist sort by overall score, highest first. Where a site is pinned out of that order — because it's the obvious answer for that specific category — the page says so on the card.
How often we re-check
Offers change constantly, so every review carries a "checked" date. We re-read the terms of a listed site at least every three months, and immediately if a reader tells us something has moved. If a figure is out of date, tell us and we'll fix it and say so.
Which sites we'll list at all
Only casinos licensed by the UK Gambling Commission. We check the operating company on thepublic register and confirm the domain is listed against that licence before a site gets a page. Sites without a UK licence don't appear here at all — not as a recommendation, not as a comparison, not as a warning. More on that in our editorial policy.
